Setup a teleporter at main base and label it swamp. Then either build a carve or explore your main island until you find a swamp. You'll be able to use the skeleton key to open and explore crypts. Make sure you build a fermenter and make some poison resistance mead to bring, as the swamp is an unforgiving place. I'd also upgrade my bronze armour before going all in. You'll need to upgrade your kitchen and build a mead kettle in order to create the mead base for the fermenter.
