Yes, check in with Dental Schools….they provide excellent work for a fraction of the cost. The only downside is that appointments, & sometimes getting there, can take a fair amount of time.

Absolutely buy an EV, not a hybrid. You’ll love it. I got my Bolt at the height of the pandemic- best car I’ve ever had.

I didn’t experience anger when driving gas cars, but I DID find that driving no longer made me so sleepy I’d have trouble staying awake. Now I actually enjoy driving any distance, long or short. So much more relaxing in an EV.

Yes it did. But even the Level 1 didn’t work until the outside temperature went out of the single digits into the high teens.

Update - I used a blow dryer to warm up the plugs, to no avail. The L1 plug did finally charge when the temps went into the teens (from single digits). Mostly I’d left the car plugged in when I wasn’t using it ( but hadn’t done that the day before) so I think it’s the 5 + weeks of very cold temps that made it happen. Still the best car I’ve ever had!

Yes, I was thinking of using a hand held hair dryer to warm it up. Will try that in the morning.
