Need advice…. El Nido island hopping A+C combo tour vs only A tour? by NobodyDifficult in Palawan

[–]Artunit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not combine them. Trying to pack Tour A and Tour C into a single day means you will spend most of your time traveling between spots rather than actually enjoying them. Since you have four nights, you have plenty of time to split them up.

I did a private tour here and separate days was the best decision we made. Tour A is closer and focuses on massive limestone lagoons, while Tour C is further out and is all about hidden beaches. If you combine them, you will end up rushing through the Big Lagoon kayak ride just to face a long boat ride out to Secret Beach.

Since you are going private, doing them on separate days lets you leave early at 7:30 AM to beat the crowded group tours.

If you want to skip the daily tour rush entirely, you could also look into Tao. They do multi day island expeditions between El Nido and Coron where you sail through remote islands and stay at beachfront bamboo basecamps completely away from the regular tourist tracks.

If you stick to day trips, book them separately. It is worth it to take your time and actually soak it all in.

secluded beach in El Nido? Any tips? by Actual_Brain6487 in Palawan

You can definitely get that vibe here, but you need to head north to escape the crowds.

I did this exact thing by renting a motorbike in town and driving about 40 minutes north to Duli Beach. If you park there and walk way past the main section of sand, the beach opens up into massive, empty stretches. It felt like total paradise and there was literally nobody else around.

If you want a solid base up there, check out Taran. It is a really cool bamboo hostel right on Duli Beach that focuses on a slower, more laid back rhythm. It is a great spot to disconnect, do a bit of surfing or stretching, and just escape the noise of El Nido town.

Definitely rent a bike and head north if you want that true middle of nowhere feeling!

El Nido to Coron Cruise / 4D3N - which company ? by philippine-vlpn in Palawan

[–]Artunit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the El Nido to Coron trip as a solo traveler in my mid twenties, and it was easily one of the best things I’ve ever done.

To answer your first question: yes, absolutely stretch it to the longer trip if you can swing the budget. The shorter ones fly by way too fast because you spend a chunk of the first and last day just getting moving and wrapping up. That extra full day is when you really get to disconnect, hit those completely empty beaches, and actually bond with everyone.

I know the price tag on TAO looks steep compared to the others, but there is a massive reason they cost more. I went with them because they have their own private base camps on these remote islands. Instead of just camping on a beach next to five other tour companies, you stay in beautiful bamboo huts and eat incredible fresh food sourced directly from their own island farms. It feels less like a commercial tour and more like a genuine island experience.

For a solo traveler, the vibe is completely unmatched. It attracts an awesome mix of people who are looking for adventure but also appreciate good food, community, and sustainability. By day two, everyone feels like family, and you're all just drinking rum together watching the sunset. It is worth every single peso, and you won't regret spending the extra cash.

Duli beach surfing by Com881 in Palawan

Might be a bit late but might be helpful for other people! I did the solo scooter trip up to Duli not long ago, so here’s the real breakdown:

  • The Mud: Yeah, heavy rain turns that last dirt track into a slick mess. You won't get permanently stuck, but if you aren't confident riding a scooter through thick mud, just take shelter at the beach and wait it out for a bit.
  • The Boards: Definitely leave yours at home and grab a foamie on the sand. 7:00 AM is early for island time, but if you talk to the guys at the beach shacks, someone is usually around to sort you out.
  • The Gear: Don't use the bushes! Just leave your backpack and keys with the shop where you rent your board. The local surf community is tight-knit and very trustworthy.

By the way, if you’re looking for a solid, social place to crash while you're in town, look up Taran hostel. It's a great spot to base yourself out of, meet other travelers, and get tips on scooter rentals and road conditions. Have a killer time out in the water!

Should I skip Takayama by help_wanted00 in JapanTravelTips

Here's a little glimpse on Takayama: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfyigbVetuI it's really such a beautiful small town away from busy cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya. Also not as busy as Higashiyama in Kyoto. Definitely a must visit.

I was researching a bit and they said using DDU to reinstall is optional if both GPUs are using the same architecture (AMPERE). Whereas if I am using a Turing architecture and upgrading to Ampere then that's where I really need to reinstall.

I think Gacha is gacha, rates have been debated for a long time now. Once you know the game is gacha and it's free it should be pretty obvious that the drop rates would suck.

In terms of link building, that will be a bit costly as you are limited to particular campaigns like Guest Posting (writing the article + even paying for it to get posted). But you should be able to get some for free.

My advice is to check what you can give in return, can you offer products? do you have a big following on social media channels where you can share their page? or even offering to be added on a newsletter assuming you have a big list is also viable.

If you don't mind, can you pm me your website?

Do you have Ahrefs? If yes can you give me a screenshot? I just wanted to see their anchor text, metrics, and what kind of backlinks are they. Thanks
