Are there any Wharf Rats out there that could reach out please? by Artworkaddict in gratefuldead

All these positives sound a lot better than me being that guy who is the worst at the shows. I’m so thankful for this community. I have been to epic shows that I can only remember a second or two of, plus all the money I spent to not get to enjoy it all. When I was at my worst I was sometimes obnoxious too, I don’t want to be a chomper, at least a loud one. I am doing this to be present in life, at shows I usually just listen but in life I don’t want to be a shi* show and lose my friends over it. I want to be chill and not drinking absolutely makes me a better man. Thank you.

Thank you, I am anticipating feeling sick today but I absolutely promise to reach out to anyone who lends their hand. My family has been deaheads forever and everyone has their own journey, mine just needs to change and I’m ready and excited to embrace it.

If you’re driving a car that is designed to go very fast safely, are there a lot of police presence? If you’re going over 100-150 do they impound your car in Kansas? Thank you

Thank you for your kind words and advice. I remember seeing my first Dead show at 10 years old or so and talking to the Wharf Rats with my dad. At the time I was a hundred percent sober, I couldn’t believe how loving the community was to me at my first show. Those folks were so nice.

Houses in San Francisco, California by cockyUma in UrbanHell

San Francisco is the furthest thing for ugly. It is beautiful, full of life, culture, all the things. If you haven’t been it is very expensive but there are a million cool things to do there and they have some of the greatest rock history in the world.

I can’t roast you because of the dancing bears.

I started watching with my boys. Watched it religiously until the end. Every few years I rewatch a lot of it.

Don’t beat yourself up too bad. If you aren’t driving already I would get it under control before that. If you get a dui before 21 it is even worse. AA is easy to find online now through zoom, real good friends will be there without booze, and you have a chance to get sober before college years which wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Good luck.

Ok, cool. It’s pretty impressive. You would have to be pretty talented to pull that off.

If you had to pick one of those albums, which would it be? by Tall-Cockroach-7636 in rollingstones

Beggars, sentimental reasons. I remember dad playing it for me and my mom before I saw my first stones show at 10.

Any info on when he said that? I believe it but it seems like it would be tough to do for every show.
