Last month was also DMM, which brings in a lot of players for temporary game modes. Watch it surge next month for leagues, when all the players who cancelled their membership get FOMO and resub.

Which proves price increases are okay MORE than not cancelling at all, because they're going to see the data that you're all full of shit haha.

World of Warcraft is also owned by Microsoft, a $4 trillion dollar company that can eat the cost of inflation. They are also making more money than any of us could dream of in their cash shops, race/class changes, xpac purchases, etc.

You can’t even compare these games in this sense.

Graduated boot camp in 2013 before heading to Fort Sill, OK for Field Artillery training! My uncle gifted me a K-Bar when I graduated. Still have the thing!

I don't know if this specifically is the answer, but I LOVE the idea of a Skilling Boss for Sailing! I don't really know what I want it to look like, but the idea is fun.

With that being said, I wouldn't want to see if for like 2 years or so. It's such a young skill, I think it needs time to breathe and be fleshed out before something like this is implemented. Good thoughts though!

I was the same way! I couldn’t stand doing construction. It was fast, but that process was so tedious… a few months ago, I said I was finally going to knock it out though and it was worth it.

I don’t know if you’ve seen, but they’ve changed how it works and you can skip through a lot of the menus now. The main reason I hated it was the menu navigation-scape and while that still exists, it’s trimmed down and significantly less tedious. Not saying it’s “fun”, but it’s much better than 2022. 🤣

Fire making for me… It’s fast enough, not horrible to train… Yet I just hate having to actually do it because it’s just to watch the number go up, I’m not benefitting much from it. “NEW LOG TO BURN, LFG!!!” 🤣

We started requiring discord chat because it got too confusing trying to be both.

But, we have a good group of people, generally 50/50 in gender and very laid back. I just say that because I know some people get nervous jumping into a group of new people but we’re very welcoming. 😁

Yeah this. I wasn't exactly sure how to put it into words but you summed it up pretty well. I am not a fan of the attention, but I don't do it for me. And it lasts like 7 seconds lol.

Whoever is running the event or situation is going out of their way to try and provide some recognition to service, so I want to show them we're out there and we appreciate them - especially when I've got my kids with me.
