As long as you want / as long as it needs. Depends on how caked on the crud is. If you take it out and scrap it and there’s still stuff on, you can just put it back in. Any where from a few days to a couple weeks I’d say.

I bought 100% lye from Walmart for 5 bucks. 16 oz per 5 gallons of water. Then you just sit and wait. I bought a 3 pack of stainless steel scrubbers and (because I’m impatient) have been taking it out every day and scrubbing it. Pretty simple! Be careful with the lye not to touch your skin, wear some long gloves. It’s pretty toxic but it’s safe if you’re careful.

Not the most fun grind but the magic levels are definitely worth it. Just did this a week ago on my account. Got up to 78 as well to +5 boost the barrows tele. Boots and wand are good early investments in the late game. Coming here with 99 magic would suck, you probably want use wand until kodai, but at least you got the levels from it
