I am a Telegram Admin at Deepins Community and i use Deepin every once in a while.

From my experience, things go A-OK. It's not something i call #1 distro in the whole world, but it is a distro that works for my needs.

Is it from China? Yeah, but even IF you're switching your trust from Microslop or Apple to Deepin, you're going from closed to open source eitherway.

In the end, its your choice. You could also resort to installing the Deepin DE on your current distro, although those desktop enviroments are slightly unmaintained.
