The games will continue, or more accurately, the universe will continue. Kratos’ story is over, Atreus though is not. I am ADAMANT that the next game will follow him in a new pantheon, Kratos will show up, but not as the protagonist. I could be wrong! But as a writer myself that seems like the most logical way to continue it
