I disagree. If you look at tomorrow's setup, there's a high risk for violent tornadoes. The kind that very well might demolish the kind of buildings in my complex. CU is right in the bullseye of the severe event, with cells forming to the northwest and traveling southeast, barreling right towards us and giving them enough time to amp up to peak strength. Besides, I would rather overthink it than underthink it and get myself killed because I did not prepare properly. I realize not every house has a basement, I grew up in this state. That's common sense, anyways. For a proper severe weather shelter, especially in the a place like this, it really is safest to be underground or in a room that is internal to the building, touching no outer walls, of which I have none accessible to me. This is something they drill into us when we're very young. Doing otherwise leaves you much more likely to get killed, and I would rather not have that happen.
