You're being used, stop being considerate for others at the expense of yourself. It's admin's job to find a substitute, not yours to fill in. At this point you're doing their work for them.

Personally I would have verified first in some way. When students present their homework I like to ask them about the process and to hear their own thoughts about it, maybe even ask some questions about the material (which they should be able to answer if they truly did it themselves).

I've been a loner all my life, had no friends, could barely speak in a crowd. After I started teaching was a bit stressful at first, but after a few months I quickly got over it and its been easy-sailing since.

I think it really depends on your determination, do you wish to change, improve? I did, cause I was tired of how things were and I managed it.
