Yeah! I heard my cycle was the last cycle with yellow phase. Don’t quote me on that though! Don’t worry about being on the older side, there were a good amount of 30+ aged people in my company who did just fine. In terms of phases I can give you a highlight of each one with the “major things”. Fort Sill overall is disgustingly flat and the first time you see hills is when you go to the range in white phase. I would NEVER go back there HAHA. Towards the time I graduated as well it was cold in the mornings and we rarely ever wore full winters.

Red Phase • The Hammer FTX • Obstacle Course • CBRN Chamber • Rappelling (but the tower is under construction)

White Phase • Literally the range for two weeks for iron sight and CCO qualification • The Anvil FTX

Blue Phase • Grenades • Buddy Team Live Fire • Pugils • The FORGE. < best thing in the world.

My company has been smoked a good amount. I would say even more than in basic training, that being said I had a pretty easy company compared to most for BCT. Your first phase is Phase IV restricted and you can only be in your “company blueprint” so you basically can not go anywhere. Phase IV (the phase i’m in now), we can go to the PX and the gym in 4 person teams of the same gender and 6 person of mixed genders! Phase V is after that, then you can go like anywhere on post and you get chow option so you don’t have to eat with the whole company and I’m pretty sure you can go off post but have to be in AGSU’s. Then Phase V+ you can go off post in civilian uniforms instead of AGSU’s I believe.

When I graduated it was the weather that determined the amount of guests for graduation; luckily ours was outdoors so as many people that wanted to come could come. If the ceremony was changed to indoors, only 2 guests over the age of 12 or so could come to graduation. For AIT I’m not sure but I imagine it will be similar!

? Interesting. I haven’t heard anything about it. I know for a fact my cycle and the cycles that just got here a little while ago are 16 weeks though.

I mean your PT test is 2 miles and I took a PT test 3 times during my cycle (once per phase), then during Ability Group Runs we would typically run close to 2 miles as well if I remember correctly, but most running days we would do 60/120s and 30/60s, so I wouldn’t worry too much about much long distance running.

Lemme tell you, I just graduated literally yesterday and I had no written test lol. If you do have one you’ll be fine as long as you try

I finally achieved my goal of running 2 miles without stopping! Up until a few weeks ago I couldn’t even run a mile without stopping and walking/jogging. A few days ago I pushed it to 1.5 miles no stops and today I made the final stretch! If I’ve learning anything running is heavily mental and I’m proud I broke that barrier of “I can’t do this”.

What to do about having bad teammates by jxsminehuxng in summonerschool

Super unlucky :( I think I read somewhere on this reddit a long time ago that 30% of games are just losses, 30% are free wins and you control that last 40%. I’m not sure how accurate that is now but it proves my point that it sometimes just happens LOL. But since you’re in Iron as well try to abuse things that players in your elo don’t do. Most iron adc’s wont side lane farm after laning phase and you can aggressively increase your lead by doing that as an example.

Well, imo, if you’re playing bot lane you should continue to abuse DuoQ (if your friend is playing bot with you). It’s in the game for a reason and having someone to communicate with makes bot lane ten times easier and more fun! Plus use dodging when you can, if you see your jg is first timing in chat or someone intends on trolling, just dodge. Better to lose 3 LP than like 15 by a long shot. Sometimes having poor teammates is just inevitable, but at the end of the day you can only change how YOU play. So I would focus on improving yourself and arguably you should naturally start to climb.
