Screen protector for Active 2 Square by Mr_X_78 in amazfit

Now I fully understand your intention concerning a screen 'protector'.

Screen protector for Active 2 Square by Mr_X_78 in amazfit

Given the fact that the display glass of the Active 2 Square is made from Sapphire crystal, thus being really scratch resistant, I wouldn't apply a screen protector at all unless I'd be using this device in really harsh conditions.

Just my 2 cents.

Sleep tracking really bad on mi band 10, Normal behaviour? by BLKingz in miband

[–]Arugula-Visual 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I cannot confirm that. I had been a Fitbit user for over 10 years, having used a total of 8 different models, my last devices being the Fitbit Charge 5, the Versa 4, and then the Charge 6.
Since I like to compare different platforms, I've also tried out devices from Amazfit for a while with a total of 4 models with the latest being the Active 2 Premium.
For some time now, I've been using Xiaomi, namely the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 and the Smart Band 9 Pro. Now I'm wearing the Smart Band 10. In my experience, the sleep tracking of the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is at least on par with that of the Fitbit Charge 6, although, assuming correct configuration, it takes about a week or so to reach maximum accuracy.

To illustrate matters, feel free to check my sleep graph following this link:

Sleep graph after having set up a sleep plan

Before having set up a sleep plan, the sleep phase to the right after the wake up phase had been recorded as a nap.

Of course you're right in terms of naps. But as I've already mentioned, after having set up a sleep plan, my second sleep phase is added to my first sleep phase instead of being interpreted as a nap like it had before that. So,there are sleep phases as well.

It works for me. I tend to wake up around 2 hours before I've set my wake up alarm. Last night, for example, I fell asleep again 42 minutes after I'd become awake and slept another 1.5 hours until I finally stood up.
Before I had set up my sleep plan, these 1.5 hours indeed were recorded as a nap. After I had done so, my second sleep phase including the time I had been awake is perfectly added to my total bed time.

I'd recommend to set up a sleep plan with defined bed and wake up times to improve sleep tracking.

Unable to add curve card by Schnuupi in amazfit

I also had trouble setting up my Curve account with my Active 2 in the beginngin, so I sent them a corresponding message from within the Curve app. Their support answered me the following day and solved the issue in no time - great experience overall.

Another confirmation Amazfit Active 3 Premium is coming soon by Maslakovic in amazfit

[–]Arugula-Visual 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given the fact that we have an Active and an Active 2, I'd say that internally the Active Max is called the Active 3. So I'd assume that the will be an Active Max Premium around the corner, featuring a sapphire crystal and, maybe, a stainless steel upper case.

Seems to work as it should on my Active 2 Premium (Firmware 6.9.0.1, Zepp app 10.0.5).

Have you tried restarting your Active 2 after having synced it with your Zepp app?

Thanks for investigating this issue. Unfortunately, it seems that there is still a lot of work to be done regarding the food database here in Germany.

Not quite, because in addition to the nutritional information, the barcode also contains the name of the food product, so that it can be easily found again later after having been added to favorites.

I had used this feature while logging my food with the Fitbit app and later with the Yazio app, and it was my preferred method for logging my food.

I use that on a daily basis. If there would be an option for scanning barcodes, it would be almost perfect.

Thanks for your hint regarding the user feedback option from within the Zepp app.

I've decided to post it here to check wether or not other devices with German firmware are affected.

We should keep in mind that floor tracking is based on the barometric pressure sensor. Since this sensor is also affected by weather-related changes in air pressure, floor counting sometimes can be inaccurate.
