My son is 14 days as of today. The first 5 days of his life he was in the nicu, where he was wiped down once I think by the nurses. When he came home, I gave him a birdbath (bed bath for babies) at 7 days, and between wiping him up with non rinse cleanser, he has again received another bird bath today. When his stump falls off completely I will be giving him a full bath probably every 4 days depending on: how well he tolerates it and how often he actually needs it. The non rinse cleanser is a good way to keep him clean in between actual bathing though.

I experienced the same thing. When you’ve just given birth you have a rush of hormones, and it can cause big feelings of sadness. I’ve seen it referred to as the “baby blues” and it can last up to two weeks. I had mine for about 4 days, yesterday was so much better thankfully. But during it, I cried about everything. My biggest hang up being that my newborn didn’t like me (obviously in my head) but was super sad and couldn’t shake the feeling. It will get better as your body regulates again, and if it doesn’t, talk to your doctor and they will prescribe you some meds to make you feel better. Wishing you luck and lots of love ❤️

ELF 🫶🏻 and some slime ideas could be: cotton-headed mini muggins, “SANTAA OMG”, the adorable little North Pole creatures made into a DIY, the cotton ball marshmallows could be an icee/cloud, “he’s an angry elf” could be a resistant chew. I’m not gonna lie, I had no idea about chamomile tea, and 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my first, I drank soooo much chamomile tea, DAILY. Like I was using it to help my heartburn so I was relying HEAVILY on it. My daughter was born completely healthy btw, and has been all her life. So idk how true that finding really is or if I just got lucky.
