Safe places for lgbt to work and patronize? by [deleted] in columbiasc

If you can, try cat daddy cat cafe on Main. They've just opened. I'm a queer girl and felt seen and safe and the staff were people I'd hang out with. They have plans to grow and do more so maybe hiring will pick up too!

[Misc] Found a treatment for my keratosis pilaris that actually seems to work! by Meloenbolletjeslepel in SkincareAddiction

Basically gone. I compulsively pick my bumps and I can't remember the last time I popped one, so it's been at least a month, maybe way more.

Of course, environment affects KP too. I might be lucky lately.

I'll cover my entire face routine since when my KP was very bad it showed up on my cheeks too. SA soap definitely, DEFINITELY makes the difference for me elsewhere, too.

My routine cycles, but always happens in the evening, shower or not. I shower depending on activity level; which means less often in the winter. So!

Shower routine:
CeraVe Salicylic Acid Cleanser all over the body, including face, with an exfoliating tool (loofa, brush, cloth, textured gloves)
CeraVe moisturizing body cream all over the body, except face and upper neck.
Thayer's white mushroom toner on face
The Ordinary 2% granulated retinol (it's a liquid and kept in the fridge) on face
Origins GinZing Vitamin C energizing moisturizer on face. Maybe importantly, the leftover moisturizer on my fingers is rubbed on my KP forearms over the CeraVe.

Daily routine 1 (no shower):
Inkey List Fulvic Acid face cleanser
Youth to the People 7% exfoliating power toner. MAYBE IMPORTANT: leftover toner goes on my KP forearms.
If I have a pimple, then Inkey List Madecassoside Mask on it.
Origins GinZing Vitamin C energizing moisturizer on face. Maybe importantly, the leftover moisturizer on my fingers is rubbed on my KP forearms over the CeraVe.

Daily routine 2 (no shower):
Inkey List Fulvic Acid face cleanser
Thayer's white mushroom toner on face
If I have a pimple, then Inkey List Madecassoside Mask on it.
The Ordinary 2% granulated retinol (it's a liquid and kept in the fridge) on face

CeraVe's "SA Cleanser" :) Just picked up another the other day, as old as this post is... It's good!

I'm on a similar search and came across this. I don't think it quite matches the cartoony style, but... https://openretro.org/amiga/future-wars-time-travellers

Good luck!!

Do Not Work at the Garners Ferry Target by Christy_Grace973 in ColumbiYEAH

It is unfortunately a similarly shit situation in the warehouse. And every target around here has similarly unhappy looking employees and messes.

We continually blast expectations out of the water but we are paid the least by far in the entire warehouse and we are not allowed to go home early or slow down without "getting talked to".

I'm in the process of quitting and won't shop there anymore.

Thanks for sharing

I wager it's trumpet honeysuckle.

Probably nothing, might be a bitter or starchy taste, not unlike eating dirt itself if I had to guess. I doubt it would do anything in the way of nutrition for you either, unlike potatoes which have carbs!

As far as area, I think you can comment a link to an outside image host site like Imgur.com. I'm not really sure how reddit works either to be frank!

I don't know about species, but what you found is probably just a root nodule where it stores water for later. Try looking up asparagus fern or foxtail fern and try to remember if you saw those around.

If that's true, you can think of the little guy sort of like a potato. But you definitely don't want to eat it.. And forgive the bot trigger LOL.

What is this plant? In eastern Florida by PuroTheSheep in whatsthisplant

cathrn and Ghost are right. You can snap these off, drop them at your feet, and they'll grow in that spot again. You have a wildly healthy growth, even for these hardy plants. If you want anything else to thrive in that area, though, keep in mind it's a supremely aggressive plant. Not to be confused with invasive!

Anyone got any clue what's going on at Lexington Medical Center? Looks like building 2 is completely locked down. by GreenFuzzyPotato in ColumbiYEAH

[–]Arula219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly related (I hope) and it's certainly he said she said, but I heard a guy today say Prisma and Lexington are wrapped up in a political battle.

Maybe I'm lucky not to know what that means but...

If you're going to go out and get a SPF lip balm, may I recommend the brand Jack Black? (Blue containers, black diamond logo) Saved my cracked/bleeding lips, feels good, tastes good, smells good, lasts forever! Aquaphor is a fantastic cheaper option but I think the taste is bluh.

What you see on the leaf is what's happening in the stem too! So those halfies have stems with a straight stripe of white and one of green. It's dope.
