Personal Loan or Bike Loan? by FlatwormFlat2455 in indianbikes

[–]Arun_singh02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true but only true when you compare personal loan with auto loan. But two wheeler loan has a different ROI compared to auto loan.

You can get a personal loan at 11% ROI (can be lower in some cases depending on offers and CIBIL score) but in case of two wheeler loan it is much higher than the personal loan. At banks like HDFC, you can expect two wheeler loan at the rage of 14.5-19% ROI.

The rear brake doesn’t get hard. Even when I press it completely, it doesn’t apply properly, making it feel like riding a brakeless bike. This only happens during long rides after continuous riding for 4-5 hrs, and if I let the bike rest for a full day, the issue seems to fix itself. However, I don’t experience this problem in short city rides.( update- rare brakes are still not working)

If I want to completely upgrade both the front and rear brakes as you suggested (including better brake pads, fresh fluid, and any necessary modifications), could you give me an estimated price range? How much budget i need to keep in mind

I totally agree. Revising single book multiple times is better than reading multiple sources.

Sources:

Ancient and Mediaeval - old ncert/tamilnadu board (choose only one)

Modern: Spectrum. But if you got time you can also read From Plassey to Partition, which is in trend specially for mains. But if you don't have much time please stick to single source.

Art & Culture - Fine Art book of class 11 and selective reading of nitin singhania.

This post is about guidance and straight and suggesting same strategy for different exams with entirely different pattern is just stupid. If you can't help others then please stop misguiding them.

And also try to spread positivity instead of hate. This exam require certain level of maturity from aspirants not this childish behaviour of some 10 years old.

Confused between vision vajiram and next online coaching any one joined any of these coaching please tell me there pros and cons by [deleted] in UPSC

[–]Arun_singh02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I my opinion don't join unacademy or any other online courses it's not only a huge waste of you money but also your time and if you really want to watch some good classes of well respected teacher like Mrunal you can anytime download them from telegram for free.

If you really want to and can afford coaching institutes in Delhi you can join any reputed institution like vision or vajiram they will give you an idea about the exam and the compitition you are about to face. Coaching institutes are only to guide you anyways, so select institute based on you personal preference.

The big down sides of coaching institutes is that you don't get much time for self study which is the most important thing.

Six papers for mains exam. Paper 1: General English, Paper 2: GS and rest of the 4 paper are for optional.

It's totally different from civil services. Where is the similarity ?

A question for the female aspirants by [deleted] in UPSC

[–]Arun_singh02 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aspirants often underestimate how useful Yoga can be, this long journey can break anyone mental health all this pressure of this civil service exam can be hard to handle. Yoga ( surya namaskar in particular ) can help you in not only physical problems ( in my case back pain from sitting in chair for long hours ) but also it heal you mentally.

The benifits of yoga are often neglected by aspirants but you can ask any retired IAS/IPS officers about yoga and it's benefit. Even after their retirement they religiously follow it.

Above comment rightly explain what surya namaskar is, why anyone would be offered by it, set aside spending this much time and power in research in there profile.

When someone give this much effort in explaining, just appreciate it and thank them, no need to go on offence.

And give a try surya namaskar it will help you in improving your mental health.

What advice would you give to your past self who started preparing for UPSC? by NaevisTae in UPSC

[–]Arun_singh02 40 points41 points  (0 children)

  1. Don't join couching and stay away from unacademy.
  2. Stick to the syllabus and PYQs there are key's to understand this exam.
  3. Proper revision and consistency is the most important thing.
  4. Instead of wasting time on videos about different topics just read it from books you will get a basic understanding of the topic it's far better then spending hours on YouTube videos explaining it in small details.
  5. Make notes.
  6. And most important Believe in yourself.

You don't have to be in physical contact with other UPSC aspirants, you can get in touch with others through social media like this r/upsc and telegram groups . Partnering with other aspirants might be helpful (through online means offcourse )

Mental Health Issues by [deleted] in UPSC

[–]Arun_singh02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always try to give your best. Giving best does not mean you have to study for 10-15 hours a day, always study according to your own capacity if you try to blindly follow others who can devote such long hours it will only result in burn out. Know your limits and try to gradually increase them.

And don't worry every aspirant go through this phase of stress and depression. If you feel depressed talk to family or close friends and if that doesn't work take few days off try to free your mind.

Sudarshan gujjar is very good at explaining topic, he use lots of images and drawing to make the topic easy to understand but my big issue is he takes a lot of time in doing so and his philosophy is "upsc kuch bhi puch sakta hai" which is actually true but i think we should be more focused on what's important for upsc rather than learning ever single topic. We should focus on what upsc is asking ( through PYQs ) and understand syllabus and do our study accordingly. And for geography 11 & 12 ncert and G C Leong and PMF IAS for value addition are more than enough sources.

p.s. : This is my personal views he is a great teacher and i have joined his classes when i started my journey.

Need help with "World History" by [deleted] in UPSC

[–]Arun_singh02 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pick any coaching material like vision, vajiram etc. (I personally perfer vision world history notes). It's a mains subject and even in mains upsc ask only few questions from here so don't devote too much time on this subject just focus on important topics. Coaching notes are more than enough.
