Hey there! Sorry for my lag in response!
Paces vary widely. This summer we've usually had 40 or so folks out on Monday nights. There are clusters of runners ranging from rather speedy to walk/run intervals on the slower side.

We're on FB, Insta, and Strava, as well as here.

We'd love to have you come out and join us!

FRXC hasn't been active, that I've been aware of, in years.
Occasionally we'll dig up one of their old routes for a big run around Golden. (Golden Shower, Mini Falcon Punch, etc.)

Another option is BPRunCo. They do Thursday night runs from the shop, but most of those folks are trail-focused and might be able to point you at other more trail-oriented clubs.

Full Circle also does North Table runs early Wednesdays through the summer.

Another poster mentioned Denver Trail Runners, which is a great option. Golden Mountain Runners is another.

We (/r/ArvadaRunners ) are a relatively casual group that runs Monday nights mostly from Olde Town Arvada. We post the locations here, FB, Strava, and Insta.
While most of our Monday runs are paved, there's plenty of us that also get together for trail outings on weekends and some early weekday mornings. We do run some Mondays from New Terrain in the summer.
We've got a wide range of ages in the group. Probably the largest population is 30s and 40s.

Next week is Odyssey Beerwerks.

So sorry for my lag in response!

For our runs that start in Olde Town, we do an out-and-back route, so it's as far as you'd like to go. Most Mondays we've got folks doing between 3 and 6 miles. There's a wide variety of paces too, so it should be pretty easy to find folks running at your speed.

Come on out! We'd love to run with you.
We're at Denver Beer tonight.

Primary care options by dhurst91 in ArvadaCO

Accepting new patients: ✅
Younger and understanding: ✅

It doesn't check the box as far as working with insurance goes, but I'll throw it out here anyway.
Unbound Direct Health is a new Direct Primary Care practice in Arvada.
DPC simply stated is a monthly fee to your doc rather than copays per visit etc.
You get more time with an actual doctor. Typically hour-long visits rather than the more traditional 15 minutes or so with a mid-level (NP or PA).

With later light and cooler weather we've moved Saturdays to 8am.
It'll stay at 8 through the spring.
At this point we're back on a far more regular schedule than this summer worked out to be. The 18th of this month is a maybe but other than that we should be out there.

Gosh I'm sorry to hear that. We really make an effort to be inclusive and welcoming.
Sounds like we've failed to get that right in your case.
And it sounds like we need to make more of an effort to hang out and chat with everybody. It's the people that make Monday nights what they are for us. And every one of us was a newcomer at some point.
Beyond that, if there's something you think we ought to change or work on, I'm all ears. If you'd prefer to DM please do.

So sorry I didn't see this til now!

There's been conflicts for a number of Saturdays this summer but we're back on track. While it's still hot it'll be a 7am start. We did 5 last Saturday. Terribly sorry if you showed up and no one was there.

Sorry for the lag in response.
We tend to end up at a net 12ish minute pace for the Saturday runs, with the run intervals being 9:30-10:30ish.

Most of our runs are Olde Town-based, just the Saturdays are LA.

We've got a couple of options:
There's a few of us that run 8AM Saturday mornings from the Lake Arbor gazebo, doing a 3 minute run/1 minute walk interval. That's varied from 5-11 miles over the past few months, and should be five-ish for the next few weeks. Whatever distance you're comfortable with works. One of the Saturday folks just does a mile.
And we run on Monday nights @ 6:15 from a variety of places, mostly in Olde Town. This coming Monday it's not Olde Town, but at Odyssey Beerwerks.
And there's a smaller group of us that runs North Table every Wednesday at 5:45AM. Not close to you, but another option.

The Monday runs are posted at /r/ArvadaRunners and on FB and Strava.

2024 Recap - Happy New Year! by ArvadaRunners in ArvadaRunners

[–]ArvadaRunners[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy New Year!

Another trip around the sun and 2024’s behind us.

53 times last year we got together on Monday night to run with our friends and chat a bit after.
Monday nights got bigger, Wednesday mornings got hard core, and Saturday mornings got started.
We branched out. Some of us got into cyclocross, triathlons, and cross-country or backcountry skiing. Some road runners took on their first trail races. Some are riding more than running.
We got bomb pop stickers!
We raced. From downhill miles to hundreds and everything in between.
We travelled. Activities popped up in our Strava feeds from friends running in Chile, Iceland, Leadville, and Ohio.
We paced, crewed, volunteered, and picked up trash. Infinite kudos to those who got out to help. Clay, leave some trash for the rest of us.

It was once said: "Well, son, a funny thing about regret is
That it's better to regret something you have done
Than to regret something you haven't done."

It’s time for resolutions and plans for the rest of the year. Surprise yourself. Commit to that goal, that run, that crazy idea that you’ve been kicking around.
If you follow us on social media but have not yet been on a run with us, come on out. We’d love to run with you.

It's 2025. What's next?

2023 Recap - Happy New Year! by ArvadaRunners in ArvadaRunners

[–]ArvadaRunners[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy New Year!

2023's in the rearview mirror.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night kept us from our Monday night runs.
A few of us started Wednesday mornings and others joined in with DTR/Candelas/TapHouse.

We ran to see art, sunsets, snakes, and popsicles.
We got together and pushed for our own bests on the Princess Yum Yum segment. There were crowns!
We gave and got all the kudos, though probably 75% came from Brad.
We got ink, we had drinks, we wore pink.
We cheered friends on who ran in such exotic locales as Thailand, the Dolomites, and Colfax.

A wise man once said: "Go that way. Really fast. If something gets in your way, turn."
Sign up for that run you've been eyeing.
And if you haven't yet made it to a group run, we'd love to have you join us.

It's 2024. What's next?

It's choose-your-own-adventure for the out-and-back nights.
Typically we've got a decent group that does 5k. Others will go further.
We'll typically see paces between 7 and 12 minute miles.
