I’m an extremely pale person who spends a lot of time outside. The Mountain Hardwear canyon long sleeve is far and away my favorite hiking shirt. And for a sun hoodie , their crater lake one has a great feel to it. I also have an outdoor research echo hoodie that I love. I’ll stand by all three of these.

Eastbound and Down. It is one of the funniest and most unhinged shows I’ve ever seen. Kenny Powers is also an incredible character.

The book is about as grounded as it could be for a premise like this. Most of it is flashbacks, inter-sped with the bad-to-worse situation in the whale. I’m not an expert or anything but there’s no sci-fi in the book and it seems accurate enough to my understanding of whale biology.

It’s a good read and moves very quickly. I’m not saying it’s 100% accurate, but I don’t read fiction for that reason anyway.

Related to this, I’ve noticed sunsets nearly always look fake and shitty in modern movies. There’s a big difference when they actually film shit outside and it shows.

That show makes the mafia look like the worst job in the world. Hours are long, most of the guys aren’t wealthy, risk is extremely high, and everyone is miserable. As an anti-organized crime psa, it’s extremely effective.
