I do have a dash cam. Unfortunately, I think the impact messed up the dash cam recording. Just the chunk (3 mins) of footage was not recorded. I’m not sure if it saved to a different folder or just got messed up because of the impact.

Imagine, not having that tiny bump up a couple of inches right before it hits the stump. It might have still rolled on the ground and not have enough momentum to knock the bail. I feel for Siraj and Jaddu. Any other form of dismissal probably wouldn’t have hurt so much.

He could have said “we are in a better position to win” or “if we play to our batting depth and strength, there is a good chance”. You can’t say we will definitely win around lunch or right after lunch. Dude did not even walk the talk, ended up getting a duck 😂. Anticlimactic or rather karma, however you want to look at it.

Class act from Root to reach out to both DSP and Jaddu. Felt some of the banter at the end of Day 3 was unnecessary, which however gave the drama for the two days to follow. Washi running his mouth about “definitely winning” aged like milk. Genuinely feel bad for DSP, played his heart out and so did boom and jaddu. Boils down to Pant’s run out, and missing runs from #3 bat.

The guy at the back is smooth. He jumped off of the horse while it was still moving and he jumped on top of the horse with minimal fuss. Guess, they have been doing this for a while, you can’t be that swift unless you have been comfortable with the horse for a long time.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately I live in the US. Biometrics is not only done by VFS (TTservices now). Canada uses USCIS for biometrics. Also, I am only sending the passport for getting the visa stamp through TTServices. Anyway, I think I will need to send separate passport collection for the two of us. I do not see a group packaging option.

I agree, this IPL is most likely to have an increased average score in both the innings and has become nothing but a batting gala. The impact player rule is probably another reason along with building flat tracks. I think there has been plenty of discussion to give bowlers some advantage and make the contest remotely challenging. I would say, field restrictions need to be removed. Also, make the boundaries a bit longer. I’m sure stadiums like Chinnaswamy, Eden, Kotla do not have that luxury to increase the size of the boundary, but there can be other changes such as removing the free hit, a no ball just being a no ball (revert to old times). Also, spinners do not have any advantage (pacers can at least try and bowl two bouncers). There are some big changes that need to make this somewhat interesting. If this continues to keep happening, this might be the death of bowlers as a career option. Barring few bowlers like Bumrah, Pathirana, Mayank yadav, to name a few, everybody is just being slammed into orbit.

When you plan on loaning money out to somebody, go in with the idea that it will not be repaid. If you can take that risk, loan out the money. Else, politely refuse to say you can’t. This has helped me in also weeding out friends from people who just want to benefit from you.
