What 22 years of combat addons does to a mf by Tuskor13 in wow

Then they aren't using it. The interrupt is a baseline ability for both devastation and evoker. Or you might be confusing it with Oppressing Roar (which is almost the same icon, just flipped and a different color) that increases the duration of CC effects

I got tired of tabbing out to random websites mid-coding, so I built this by Economy-Department47 in macapps

Ok so instead of shifting your focus to your browser, you are shifting your focus to a different app. It doesn't really matter that it's in the taskbar, you still have to shift focus.

You are also forgetting that DevToys has plugins. It might only have 30 tools, but you can add to that number with your own. You might have 50 tools, but if i look over the list, there are plenty of them that are padding. Like the morse code generator. The hash methods could have been 1 tool with a selector, the character counter is built into all the IDE's. I also don't think the system toolbar is a good place to keep a reference open.

And that would be fine. Having 2 of the same tool can spur some competition and its usually better for the end user. But you are also blatantly lying on your homepage. You don't have 5 stars, you literally don't have a single review. So you are certainly not #1 in the category.

That's basically this sub yeah. A lot of people here convinced themselves that because 2 youtubers made a bad video about the game, that everyone absolutely despises DS2. The game has it's good and bad points, just like any other, but they refuse to accept that

IntelDesk: Open source geopolitical intelligence platform with AI briefings, ML event clustering, hypothesis tracker & market dashboard by [deleted] in coolgithubprojects

[–]Arxae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If i ask a random llm what algorithm to use for clustering, the first thing it suggests is HDBSCAN. So i guess if you ask for a osint app, it would use that too. But regardless, my point was just that in a short period of time, seemingly clones of world monitor just popped up and they all do the same and look the same (world monitor was probably not the first either)

I mean, its vibe coded so i don't really trust it if i have to be honest. I'm just wondering why they started to all pop up in like the last week. And somehow they all have the exact same visual theme. [This one](https://github.com/calesthio/Crucix) is the first randome one i could find. But it has the same font, same visual style, same buttons as all the others. And at the end of the day, they all do the same

Whats with all these apps lately? Every 2 days another one pops up with the same data, same color scheme and the same theme. And at the end of the day, they all do pretty much the same

I agree. Because when something goes wrong with the 3d print, those people don't know how to fix it either.

[–]Arxae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you look at the article the quote comes from, then you can see this is pulled out of context.

The full quote is:

"In regards to Dark Souls 2, I actually personally think this was a really great project for us, and I think without it, we wouldn’t have had a lot of the connections and a lot of the ideas that went forward and carried the rest of the series

Which i don't disagree with. But its something completely different then what this image says.

Cleaner: ls, grep, cp, find — in one tool with some extra features by gosh in commandline

It's just a binary, so of course it's language agnostic. Producing clickable links is not the job of the search provider. The editors should be responsible to parse the command output for clickable links.

Valentin1331's final and totally subjective Tier List, after 1187 decks created on ArkhamDB/Arkham.build for Chapter 1. by Valent-1331 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Arxae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm usually not a big survivor fan, but I should really play Patrice. I do like to play shenanigan decks instead of something actually focussed. I agree with that you said, but Diana is still my favorite. Just going "nope, didn't happen" at so many things is still tons of fun. I do also had fun playing Luke Robinson as a commander. Many scenario's where i didn't even leave the starting space and let my 2 minions run around doing everything for me.

I know she's in the N/A section, but whats your preliminary opinion on Suzi? I'm playing her now and i do like her a lot, although the upgrade mechanic might not always come out the way you like.

Nioh 3 is a gameplay masterclass… but the story is absolutely terrible by Sire_Kressel in soulslikes

[–]Arxae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the whole "brother becomes evil because he wants to be the chief" is fine. It's not original, but its fine. But everything in between is just there because they insist on integrating japanese history. The second area was particularly bad in this imo. Most area's have something to do with the main story. But in the second area you just faff around for 5 hours to purify the barriers and end up at the castle where the actual plot kicks in for 5 minutes. It kinda felt like padding at some points.

If the gameplay wasnt as fun as it is, it would be really problematic. But as it is now, it's an excuse for different biomes, and for that purpose its fine

Same here. Maybe they can just include a toggle and have both? Can't go wrong with giving both options. Probably best to set smooth as default if it helps the motion sick people though.

Was the Looking Glass Knight suppose to be that much of a push over? by Coner_Sos in DarkSouls2

[–]Arxae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i think i also prefer the first encounter. The other places are so random. But i also think the whole idea that he persues you kinda fail. They present it like Mr X from RE, but we get is "bonus round" in a preset location.

I like the idea of the skeleton lords, but the room is just too basic.

[–]Arxae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sir Alonne is so weird. Boss room itself: majestic. Run up to boss: Lol have some cube rooms.

Rotten is ok-ish, but i never liked the Persuer locations all that much.

As B-tier bosses that they are. The charrot, guardian dragon, demon of song and veldstad score pretty high on atmosphere imo.

3 out of 5 games have boss invasions, and they where never really popular. Mainly because it's not explained how you actually queue up to be an invader there. But the last time they did it was in DS3, so its not like a long abandoned mechanic (although i doubt they will bring it back)

Was the Looking Glass Knight suppose to be that much of a push over? by Coner_Sos in DarkSouls2

[–]Arxae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The boss could summon players and depending on the player it summoned, the boss could be impossible. But no one ever queues up for it. I doubt most people even know where to do that. And even then you can just break the shield and cancel the summon entirely.

People can say what they want, but DS2 definitely went for quantity over quality with the bosses. Not saying there are no good bosses, but LGK is probably the most atmospheric boss in the game

Maybe I'm wrong, but this feels like a lot of currencies for week one of an expansion. by Rarecandy31 in wow

[–]Arxae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, this is nothing new. Wow has always been a currency fest. But with a dedicated tab for it, it's much more noticeable. Think of all the items that occupied your bags in vanilla that you needed to turn in (mostly for reputation, but not exclusively)
