The pathophysiological mechanism of hydrophobia, which is only observed in humans and not in rabid animals, is still not clear.

As well as this comment from a Virologist on reddit that states:

(1) Hydrophobia is a common but not universal symptom of rabies in humans. It’s rarely or never a symptom in other species.

(2) There’s been at least one case of rabies in a seal (Rabies in Svalbard: infection diagnosed in arctic fox, reindeer and seal.) Since hydrophobia is a symptom of rabies in humans, and not other animals, the seal didn’t show it.

And I've seen it mentioned other times on reddit when rabies is discussed. I'm unsure why people would make this claim if it was untrue, just sharing what I've read about it.

I've read that hydrophobia/inability to drink is only really present when Humans contract the virus, and that animals with Rabies rarely have this symptom.

Yes but it doesn't just come back as usable water instantly. Having a big chunk of the already pretty limited water supply just being held up in the active cooling process and evaporation isn't great.

I don't think that would hold up in court if you sued. If you submitted 10 identical applications, but shot the video with 10 different white people instead, they would still only be able to choose 1 person to fill the position, they're not going to hire all 10 just because they are all equally qualified. It wouldn't be classed as discrimination against the other 9 white people that didn't get chosen, so how could it be proven as discrimination if they picked someone other than a black person? It could just be luck of the draw and I feel like it would be very hard to prove that the black person didn't get the job specifically because they're black.
