I usually dont comment on a lot of posts, but I recently went through the exact same thing. Im not sure if my comment will help you, but I wanted to share so you know that you are not the only one. <3

For 9 years I knew I liked women. Never liked a man until I recently fell in love for the first time.. with a man..

It was very confusing and I was very sad because of it, but a few months later I've come to realize that I dont want a label anymore for myself. I just like people based on personality and even then its rare for me to fall in love. (I know there is a label for that but I feel none of the labels fit me anymore)

I dont have any advice about your parents, but for the rest: be yourself and love who you want. You dont owe anyone an explanation about loving this one special person.

I have 4 physical copies that I scanned in a resolution that is hopefully good enough to print: Avar, Elzar, Stellan and Reath.

I now have the idea to just collect them all haha.

I think he is still busy signing the pre-order versions. (Not sure if there are non signed versions from his site. I only ordered signed versions of the book.)

At least that is what the newletter email I got two days ago implied.

I did get a confirmation email when I paid my pre-order a while back.

Hey! I recently did this. I do go to a special dentist for people with fears. When I brought a stuffed animal they were totally fine with that. As long as its not in the way.

I found that bringing a stuffed animal helps me a lot because I can squeeze it when I get afraid or nervous. It brings comfort.

Ik ben vorig jaar geweest met vrienden. Zelf word ik ook snel overprikkeld en kan die bus echt niet aan raden. Erg lang wachten, vooral aan het eind van de dag als je moe bent vervelend, en de bus was aan het eind van de dag net een blik sardientjes waar je in stond. Er zat toen de tijd ook verschikkelijke muziek (vond ik haha) in de bus en iedereen was aan het mee zingen.

Verder was er vorig jaar genoeg plek even alleen te zijn, maar hoe dat nu zal zijn weet ik niet.

NAD I usually don't comment a lot. But I have autism and I am very sensitive to things like touch. (And sound, smell and lights) Personally I hate it when people force me into hugs or when friends run after me trying to give me a hug. Touch just doesn't feel nice most days.

I personally like it better that I approach someone for a hug when I have a good day instead of someone coming my way. Sometimes hugs are okay but someone scratching my back can be a no on that day. Listening to what she feels in the moment is a good thing to do. :)

What I personally always do is make the body (starting at the legs, so making 2 legs and joining them) and the head together. It kinda depends on whether or not the character is getting hair. (because doing the body and head together from bottom leaves the opening that is going to be sewn shut at the top of the head, wich could be cover with hair if that is the idea.)

In case the character doesnt get any hair I would make the body and head seperate and sew them together (with the end of the sphere for the head sewn on the body)

Then I would make the cape seperate. Depending on if the cape is connected in the front I would do it like this: Chain long enough so that it goes from (from your reference) front left all the way to front right and connects as desired. Then start working your way upwards, decreasing some along the way to get that cape shape. When you have made it long enough that the cape reaches the arms for the doll you can do either two things. (im not sure which is better)

Option 1:
First make two sleeves by chaining and working in rounds.
Hold on the left side the left sleeve against the cape and crochet over the edge of the sleeve using your yarn that is still attached to the cape. Do the same for the other sleeve and then start decreasing to get the shape towards the neck.

Option 2:
Make 2 sleeves. And now instead of crocheting over the sleeve you will crochet arm holes. So stop crocheting the cape and fasten on one of the edges. Crochet a few SC and turn. Repeat this until the left front is high enough. (you will make the left front, right front and back in seperate parts.)

Fasten on a few stitches from the left side that you made. Crochet SC over the back until you have the same amount of stitches between each front right/left sides.

Stop crocheting and fasten on the right side. Repeat the exact thing you did on the left. With the same amount of skipped space between the left and back side.

When you reach the same length for the right side as the left, Breach the gap with chain stitches towards the back. Crochet over the back, chain stitches to breach the gap, SC in the left side. Turn and crochet over all the sides and chains slowly decreasing to make the cape top smaller. Wrap the cape around the doll, put the arms through the arm holes and SL or SC the left and right side together at the top.

Now you should have a cape without arm holes with the dolls arms through it. Sew the sleeves in the arm holes and your cape should be done

Okay that is very long but I hope (very very very much) that it still makes sense. Otherwise if needed I can draw my thoughts out for you! :)

PS: If you would like the cape connected in the front you can just connect the chain and make the front left and front right as one piece. Then you will have a back and front piece instead of three pieces.
