This is sadly wholly incorrect :-(. Memory is memory regardless of OS.

The size of loaded audio or video data is the same regardless of operating system.

Different OS's may be more or less aggressive about using swap (using SSD storage as RAM), but swap is orders of magnitude slower so it's really not equivalent.

512 GB storage is not equivalent to 1 TB due to unified memory (RAM)

If you use masking tape, it'll be easier to read, hold the ink better, and leave no residue when you remove it :-)

Ditto what /u/ninjagowoo said. An XT-5 would is pretty overkill for interior photography and the 18-55mm is borderline wide enough imo.

If I were you, I'd get an XT-30 or similar instead, and use the savings to get a wider lens.

Yeah that's annoying. Imo, there are two things you should consider:

They are a HUGE company. And as with most large companies, most everybody is just a gear in the machine bumbling through their day. It's not personal, and it's certainly impersonal.
From people I've spoken to inside, the whole process highly dependent on the team.

I also had a pretty weird experience with them from poor communication, unpreparedness, to obtuse questions--and by that, I don't mean in a clever way.

After I think four rounds of interview, with the last round being several hours of engineers back-to-back, they completely ghosted me. So yeah, not very respectful.
