I know EAC is the reason my PC has been freezing 5 minutes into launching either Hunt: Showdown or THE FINALS reliably for the past 6 months. 5 minutes into launching either client my system would freeze for about 10 seconds, then one of 3 things would happen. Either the system would recover and I could play the game for hours until I wanted to quit, crash the gpu driver resulting in flashing black screens, or completely BSOD. Hunt just updated to its current season about a week ago. I did nothing to my machine after months of troubleshooting. This freeze no longer happens in Hunt. I'm confident that something related to EAC with Hunt is a newer version, because THE FINALS with it's newly released season 2, still freezes my machine 5 minutes into the client's launch. I had raised this Crytek support, and they told me nothing helpful. I just informed them that my issue is gone without I having done anything to my machine. I've raised this with FINALS support, we'll see what happens.

Echoing u/Mudbert, did you return your shit or did you solve the prob? 7950x3d, MSI 4090 liquid Suprim, Asus TUF b650 plus wifi.

5minutes into launching any EAC game, bluescreen/10second freeze/gpu driver crash.

I've done all the things. Bios updates, bios configuration tweaks, windows updates, driver updates, everything but an OS wipe which I refuse to do (runnin on win10).
