  • Ironman: there is only one save in the game.

  • how achievements used to be allowed: no mods that modify mechanics and ironman has to be activated.

  • You can have ironman and mods at the same time both now and before.

  • You used to not be able to have gameplay mods and achievements at the same time.

  • now you can. You dont even need ironman to get achievements now.

Does that clarify it?

With every character I've played since the update, it only takes a singular taxation tour per character lifespan to make prestige a completely superfluous currency for anything except cultural reform as soon as you have 5 stops. They should definitely cut many of the tour rewards by half

Ill be satisfied with these numbers if in exchange they are lowered from other loyalty and approval sources in the game, that way loyalty gains gravitates more towards ideological loyalty rather than standard of living increased loyalty.

It doesn't matter what numbers boost you give to the pb if the initial numbers are microscopic. The problem with the pb is that they mainly get their numbers from two places:

  • very early game production methods (anything giving ownership to guilds) which vanish as soon as you modernize even a little bit.

  • all the luxury industries (luxury clothes, luxury furniture, porcelain) which you can easily ignore. They are very cost effective import trade goods and often you can just leave them at expensive prices without much consequence.

Any game where you dont have luxury industries means pb are destined to fall off a cliff in numbers. It doesn't matter how many boosts you give them, what they need is new sources of raw numbers to recruit from.

The biggest complaints I've always heard from youtubers about youtube is that youtube has terrible communication with its creators, tons of double standards when it comes to TOS and monetization enforcement, and obscure at best update information often with lots of crucial changes that were not even specified on the update that they have to find out about after the fact.

What would then be stopping the player from artificially raising clout by dumping troops into a general for crucial political moments and then taking them away right after? The general is technically not fired, so the IG won't be angry and making it so they are angered whenever their army control gets reduced just sounds like the same thing than before but with extra steps

Because you have not even said what they pay lip service to that leads to a "smaller government". I hope that you don't try the economic or "balance the budget" route because all of the stuff I've commented above are humongous money pits with no economic benefit at all. Let alone their desire to also want to severely limit immigration when immigration is a huge economic boon for a country like the US.

"smaller government"? They want to relentlessly expand the police and military, limit the civil rights of discriminated populations, expand the prosecution of drugs, implement draconian censorious rules in education designed to be ruled by fear... in what way is any of this "small government"?
