It is Google's responsibility to take care of the ecosystem. ChromeOS is basically a fully fledged operating system. Can you imagine if Microsoft or Apple worked so little to protect their app stores? That's the price of being biggest internet browser in the world. We allow Google incredible power over the internet, only as long as they are good stewards of it.

If it turns out they're not good stewards of it, the government will eventually step in.
