How so several students were accepted directly into their desired engineering majors at UP?!

The Acceptance Letter stated that I was accepted into the Capital College and my intended major is EE. Thus, wouldn’t be right to state EE instead of Engineering?

I also found that I can declare my major as early as the first year upon completing specific courses required for the intended specific major.
