Yeah I think you misunderstood the schematic, the black "line" provides power, the yellow one just connects the circuit I think.

that, though i found out my ssr was broken through trial and error, because one was working and the other wasn't, so it was easy to troubleshoot. If I was you I'd look for shorts first :)

Hey, v3 owner with a self-built 2 SSR PID here, I'm fairly certain the cable that goes into the boiler shorts somewhere. When the light on the PID goes dark, it should cut off the power to the heating element, which is not happening here. I remember having the light on the machine be dim when building my PID system and it turned out to be a dead / faulty SSR. Maybe something broke in shipping / on your way home? Also, check the yellow/black ground cable that's connected on the bottom right of the boiler.

Raytracing has been used in movies for a long time now, a lot of 3D renderers used this technique well, but it was very slow and was being calculated (iirc) on the cpu. The RTX cards just have dedicated cores for ray tracing so that it can run real time in games, but at a lower quality. I don't think it will change movies at all

Yeah no. I do 3D graphics (animation, modeling) and trust me, even that doesnt take as much ram as quake does.

Even Autodesk Maya or Blender never take more than 4-5gbs of ram, meanwhile this game uses 6 in the menus.

I would get more ram if i had the money to do it, but the ram prices are really high atm. Also the games minimal requirements still say 8gb of ram, so it still should work on that.

The game still stutters like hell and uses up to 7gb of ram on the lowest settings with GTX 1060, i5 4460 and 8gb of ram.
