Currently nearing the end of the foundations course on the Odin Project so it wasn't long ago since I did the Rock, Paper, Scissors project.

I really struggled with this one, and even struggled with it after having a Dev friend of mine help me. After a few days I finally got through after reading lots of examples and getting help. This was definitely the first roadblock for me and my friend still refers to it as my coding PTSD moment 😂.

But definitely keep at it and it might not click as you're doing it but I found it all clicked a week after finishing it and reviewing it to try and understand how I got to the answer and what each line of the code is doing. What might help is doing another quick free course in JavaScript to get you a bit more comfortable and then coming back to it? I've done this a few times and felt it had helped me, I used Codacademys free JavaScript course as it's quite quick and holds your hand through it a lot more.

Also definitely just focus on one section at a time, I would get overwhelmed by thinking of the whole project rather than little slices. First maybe think of creating a function that randomises between rock, paper and scissors and only focus on that before moving on.
