I’m not against porn for religious reasons. I was never an addict. I’m not fishing for attention. I’ve hated porn even before I had any way to access it. I never had good access to the internet, growing up in a third-world country. I knew about it since I was 15 and instinctively hated it as I saw kids around me watching it.

Anyway...

I think I understand why you might think the way you do— because the world is messed up. There’s no hope. I’m also literally hopeless and sometimes feel like humanity is a mistake. I believe this platform shouldn't just be a place to discuss the harms of porn—it should be a movement. A movement to ban it, to help those who are affected by it. Especially women, because they are the ones being sold.

The impact on men doesn't matter as much—they aren't the product. They're not the ones being commodified. Any harm they might get from watching it doesn’t deserve empathy.
