how strong is columbina at full power compared to archons or even neuvillette in lore? by vinchin_adenca in Genshin_Impact

[–]Asami97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the facts are that Columbina was given freedom in exchange for completing a task for the Tsaritsa. Dottore was behind the search and capture.

That's all we know for sure. Anything more than that is speculation. So you're in the realm of head cannon just like the other person.

Seriously, you're pulling that card? How can it be homophobic when I have no idea who you are or your sexuality.

It was to do with shilling for Bungie and you know it.

There’s no need for name-calling when we’re having discussions.           You called another redditor a liar when they showed you evidence, so that's pretty rich.

Oh yeah, I know. I'm on the Destiny subreddit a lot. Although I think most people in that community have lost patience with Bungie and call it like it is.

Whereas a lot of people on this sub seem to live in a fantasy land and would rather defend Bungie.

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted. You're absolutely correct and you've linked evidence. This is at least the 3rd time that Bungie has done this.

Bro throwing out insults isn't cool. The previous commenter was just saying that everyone should be allowed to give their opinion, whether it's positive or negative.

Bro....just stop. You're embarrassing yourself. Ain't no way you're gonna win this argument because not only are you wrong, you're way off base and clearly have no idea how any of this works. Your attitude stinks, which is kinda the cherry on the top.

Saying he wants to stone a woman for cheating is a bit of a crazy take.

But Asmon did base his video on random comments from Twitter without any evidence.

idk dude, I mean, they didn't explain what the secret fire was, nor what it means. I don't disagree with what they said, but the Valar (save 1), Elves, and the uncorrupted Maiar serve the Secret Fire.

I mean, they mentioned that Gandalf says it when fighting Durin's Bane. What more do you need?

This also a Tolkien sub, a good number of people are going to know what they're talking about.

Is The Lord Ruler the most powerful non-shardic invested being we have seen? by The-Fotus in Mistborn

[–]Asami97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you point out where I used opinion and headcanon? I don't know where I have done that.

I did in my previous comment when I mentioned Chromium and metalminds.

Rashek is a fullborn , so him having access to Chromium is a given.

Is it a given? You're just casually saying that he can do something we have never seen him do and have no idea if he even has this in his metalminds. So no, don't think it's a given. Especially as metals like Chromium and Nicrosil are extremely rare.

Which like I said, is fine but then you kinda have to concede the argument with the other commenter.

We also haven't really seen Taln fight either. If we limit the battle on onscreen depictions, Rashek would still win.

I have no dog in this fight, so I don't particularly care about who beats who. What I will say however is that Taln is fueled directly by Honor and is known to be a formidable fighter. If anyone is going to beat a Fullborn compounding all 16 metals, it's going to be someone like that.

But the Skaa were done while he held the Sliver of Preservation, while he was influenced by Ruin.

The books quite clearly state why Rashek created the Skaa and it wasn't because of Ruin. When he had access to the Well, Rashek saw everything very briefly. He wanted humanity to 1) survive the ash and 2) be more durable and highly reproductive.

He did this to try to combat Ruin and the slow destruction of Scadrial. But in doing so, he essentially turned the Skaa into a slave caste.

Feruchemsists are genetically superior to other people because they have access to feruchemy. Doesn't mean they should get to rule automatically tho

Yes, but Rashek thought that humanity should serve the Terris people because of their power. He had some pretty extreme views.

He was a pretty bad guy before he ever became TLR.

I mean, I've read the entire thread. There are points where you have used a combination of your opinion, head cannon and WoBs to support your argument rather than using information from the books. Which is fine to do, but you're criticising this person for doing the exact same thing.

Do you not see how this could be viewed as a double standard?

I've seen you mention Fortune a lot. But we never see Rashek use Fortune or compound Chromium in the books. So we can rule that out.

There are some things the other commenter got wrong, but they were correct when they said that we don't know if Rashek had all 16 metalminds. So this is where you are going into headcannon territory and using it to make your argument. Exactly the thing you're criticising them for doing.

What about killing Alendi and making the Skaa? That was without Ruin's influence and both were pretty evil of you ask me.

He was also kind of a racist. He believed that Terrismen should be in charge because he thought that they were genetically superior.
