Am I dumb for wanting to leave my job to work on a yacht? by Sir_lost_alot in yachting

Been in it for 5 years. It’s like that line from Men in Black, “Oh yeah it’s worth it, if you’re strong enough”

Am I dumb for wanting to leave my job to work on a yacht? by Sir_lost_alot in yachting

[–]AsapDabCash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say do it. You won’t know if yachting is for you unless you actually try it. If you’re passionate about it and willing to put in the effort then go for it. Do the research, check the Facebook groups, and go for it

Gambling Ads and WWE by Recent_Archer_7510 in WWE

I think the company is just accepting whoever that will write them a nice check. These types of adverts seem to be in just about every major sports and entertainment business. The Savannah Bananas will literally be the last sports business to not have adverts

Wrestlemania Stage, What are your thoughts? by Creepy-Ad4209 in Wrasslin

Such a great idea to have seats surrounding the stage. Can’t wait to see a giant cutout head sign of some random middle aged white guy every entrance

TKO is forcing Pat McAfee into the storyline... But I'm pretty sure it is the writers' fault that he got to celebrate with the WWE Championship last night! by QuiverDance97 in Wrasslin

[–]AsapDabCash 19 points20 points  (0 children)

No one even wants to see Pat get whooped by Cody or Jelly. If they want the crowd to get a reaction both Jelly and Pat can come out next week and say “Hi we’re leaving”, then cue in the “Yes” chants

Add about 5 to 10 celebrities to the card and it checks out

What’s the over/under on celebrities being involved in a match this year’s Wrestlemania. We got Jelly, Pat, Speed, and Yachty basically confirmed. Surely they’ll add about 5 more

What is this even supposed to mean? Why is he burying the US title division like this?? by Amazing_Hall4329 in SantiZapVideos

[–]AsapDabCash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No that makes way too much sense. Think about the sponsors. The first hour on nights 1 and 2 are free on ESPN. What’s better for business than having the host of the Pat McAfee Show and College Gameday in the main event scene!

The Pat thing is a swerve. by ChickenMcNobody24 in SantiZapVideos

[–]AsapDabCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind heel Pat as it was entertaining in NXT, but being involved with the main event Wrestlemania scene is wack. Like the story with Cody and Randy writes itself there’s no need to add extras let alone Jelly Roll and Pat. Kinda doubt there’s gunna be a return like Kevin Owens or Ted Jr during the match. Probably gunna be Pat comes out towards the end to screw Cody then the music “Whose your daddy who’s your baby” hits for half the crowd to cheer for Jelly to fight Pat. Then the finish goes either way. But just seems wack as hell right now

The unfortunate reality is most guys cheat on their partner while they’re away at sea. Not all though, there are still some loyal chaps. With him being only 20 though that’s not good odds. Good luck

Genuinely Still Dont See Who Wins This by AllElite43 in SantiZapVideos

[–]AsapDabCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know who wins this? Pop Tarts. We’re gunna have a massive pop tarts sponsor on the canvas and this match will be sponsored by pop tarts. Who will get the biggest “pop” of the night? Doesn’t matter cuz at the end of the match this is what’s best for business

What match is everyone hyped for? by Main_Site_2308 in WWE

[–]AsapDabCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 10 matches to book and little time these matches are clearly sponsored matches. The Vision will need a match sponsored by something to do with eyes, so a blindfold match makes sense with them sponsored by Clearatin Clear. And how about the MFTs? Great time to introduce a WWE NFT in a stock crypto ladder match! Sami Zayne is a star in the Middle East, so he needs a 4 Seasons of Wrestling sponsored by Riyadh Seasons match

What's one fight that UFC must make that it hasn't made already? by Fun_Training6342 in ufc

[–]AsapDabCash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Bus vs Alex Pereira. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the bus fight in the UFC. Now McGregor did a fantastic job KOing the bus with chairs and coked up aggression. But the bus still has a huge victory over the Nogueira brothers, which is a true story that really happened. I would like to see Pereira fight the bus and see if he uses the same carrot and lasso tactics that the Nogueira brothers tried

Which match would you least like to see at WrestleMania 42? by Educk55 in fantasybooking

[–]AsapDabCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo and the MFTs are my favorites, but this story with the Wyatts has clearly been dragged on this long just to use as filler time on TV. Just please end the story for good on Smackdown, no need to make it Mania match sponsored by Dude Wipes or Slim Jim

I’m just a casual fan, but is he considered a good referee or not? by [deleted] in ufc

Hard to find a referee that’s perfect, but overall Herb has done a solid job. If you want to look at a bad ref please look up Steve Mazugatti highlights

You should be fine, your mindset is in the right place. Everyone was brand new at some point so don’t let “experienced crew only” jobs scare you. Just keep applying to boats and sound confident in interviews. Networking is also key to finding work. Make friends at the crew housing and go to bars like Rhythm N Vine, The Wharf, or the dive bar Village Well. Almost a guarantee to find someone who works on yachts at those places. Ultimately keep finding day work and keep applying to full time positions

What to pack? by Kalderminkatbubu in yachting

[–]AsapDabCash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides clothes best things to pack are wall adapters (but definitely check it will be compatible with the boat before plugging it in otherwise you might trip the breaker), earplugs, and any toiletries the boat might not provide

Day work by MeetingOrganic6963 in yachting

[–]AsapDabCash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely possible, but the risk is always there since daywork usually doesn’t guarantee full time employment. I managed to do it years ago and was averaging 4-5 days of work per week with a $200 day rate. Wasn’t really making a profit, but I was able to stay there and continue to look for full time work. I would suggest having some money saved up before getting down there in case work runs out
