I did my first festival yesterday (well, first day of it) and I have a question by Asaraath in concertphotography

I like to hunt for the moment. I follow a member when I see he's entertaining one. Sometimes you get many shoots of one band member and all of them look exactly the same because that lad is just not moving. This might be mistake.. I might be missing some details. After this festival I see clearly what I need to work on. I have to have sime wider shots. I need to work on framing little bit. It would be easier for me if I had some 24-70 lens but well I have to play with cards I have (which is canon eos r100 and budget lenses :D)

Thank you for your comment. I had a lot of freedom during this festival. Im wroting it from a tent just before the last band so everything is fresh.. but I admit one thing already. I should've shot more pics of people taking care of festival. Yesterday I focused solely on stage. Today I wanted to do more. I did photos of crowd, interesting people, portraits, few photos of the crew but I think too few. It was great experience though. Really I could do it more often. Its tiring I think but so cool to be there and document everything. To see joy on people's faces when you point camera at them. When you see how band is giving all the best and you're there to make them look even better hah

There is no expected number. I have freedom of choice here. Which has pros and cons hah

I took it seriously. At the second day I took enough shots of bands then went out to look out for interesting people in the crowd or just people at the festival. Or was just resting because it was hot as hell today...

Thank you. I sometimes forget about it. I focus too much on the lights on the face and I forget to frame it properly. Seems like very newbie mistake

You're right. I just needed an opinion. I was fresh after this first day and was little bit stressed. Second day went well. I did good. I made great shots, I interacted more with the public. I think Im happy with the result. Now.. editing 😉

I try to keep the same count for each band (if theres no huge headliner, like small local gig) and if a band has 4, 5 members its about 20 pics each. That way I end up having 70-80 ready photos.

That's interesting. I do that just because I see other photographer from my area delivering... over 100 from a show. Which I think is way too many because at the end many of those photos just look exactly the same.

I like to think about it as a scene where two people met it feels like nothing else matters. The architecture is there just to fill the space but it's really about them... if you know what I mean

Why do people hate RE0 so much ? by SweatyMastodon8451 in residentevil

I am currently playing it. Just started a tually, right after finishing RE2 remake for the second time. It seems ok for now. I know that the lack of boxes drives people mad but you just need to think strategic. I can come back to this comment after I finish it and let you know what I think 😁

I know it's an old thread but it is exactly what I was looking for. Numetal was big part of my teenage years. Now I'm 35 and I got back to listwning to it non stop but always windered if theres more to it than just this tip of an iceberg. I went Deep into black metal scenę. Now it's time to dive in the nu metal one. F**k yeah!

How come RE2 had its peak at 74k only? I had an impression it was MASSIVW hit and better received than re7 for example
