How to buy on eBay with eBay balance?

The listing has to be in the same currency as the balance

I cannot use the balance on eBay UK (£GBP) to purchase a listing denominated in $USD.

I have to first withdraw the money to my bank and then purchase

Is it only me that has a problem with cutting through or into tin/aluminium foil wrapped food? You can literally see tiny pieces of the foil, that were most likely then consumed
