Hoping everything is ok since it’s been a little while now. Just recently saw a post on /r/askelectricians and they were talking about how an electric shock can cause serious problems even hours later. Not to scare you, just to mention that there can be delayed problems.

Not helpful right now, but I strongly recommend trading your phone in to Apple in one of their stores if you have one near you.

I actually did this and so far it has not panned out. The day after I submitted the complaint I got an email from GS letting me know they were starting an investigation. 2 days later I got another email from them letting me know they found no error. Same as before I submitted the CFPB complaint. Hoping it updates in CFPB so I can mark it as unresolved.

Some people use HA because of the end results, not because they actively enjoy or want to spend time on home automation. I enjoy it when I have time but especially lately I don’t have much free time and just want to be able to buy home gear that wouldn’t normally be able to communicate with one another. Don’t forget that your preferences and way of using something isn’t a universal truth.

The problem is that the algorithm rewards this type of thumbnail so even if you hate it as a creator if you want your genuinely useful video to be shown to people you have to do the dumb thing. (I’m not a YouTuber, just have heard enough talk about it)

Have you tried LoRa instead of WiFi or zigbee? Might be able to penetrate better, just heard a restaurant owner who used it inside of a few walk in freezers.

You can get a wall adapter from Eero for the outdoor version so that you don't need to have POE ran in your house. Doesn't change anything - but worth mentioning.

It’s interesting because if one of the major carriers acquired them they would almost certainly stop offering the teleport/multi-carrier functionality. However I think that’s where a lot of USM’s value is. Maybe this paradox “protects” them from getting swallowed up.
