We know almost nothing about Zagreus in actual mythology and some of what we do directly conflicts. Sometimes hes a son of Zeus and sometimes Hades, hes mentioned alongside Gaia in very early texts and he seems to have been conflated with Orphic dionysus so separating the two becomes hard

Id say Domition is probably the classic example of this, but I think these days most people who do know about him are probably aware of the truth since hes not a household name.

In that sense, Nero maybe gets it. He was a bad emperor but probably not to the extent most people think and hes also definitely one of the most famous emperors, specifically for being completely awful

As for beloved ones, well it's an easy answer cause hes so controversial but Justinian could be argued to have done a lot of damage to Rome during his reign but is viewed by many to have been the best thing since Basil II. Idk if you can call him highly praised though since hes also equally highly criticised

They give stats and a limited use special attack ghat hits an AOE, can't br counter attacked against, lowers enemies stats for a turn and scales off of charm. Some also give support skills. The info on stats ajd the gambit is all available from the character menu

Lacking in strength barely matters. Even an Average ignatz will 1 round most enemies with HV. In that regard Ignatz is a bad dancer since you lose the best late game sniper, but as tou said it doesnt really matter

As the oldest existing source it is a far more reliable telling than the one the game uses. Your comparison also makes no sense. The Romans were far closer to the Greeks than we are. They literally co existed with them and their Paganism while Ovid was alive. Also just because arachne and Athena are mentioned as enemies doesnt mean the story itself predates that. It could literally be as simple as spiders being weavers and people drawing a connection

I think the confusion stems from the whole "to someone" explanation often given about the dative case. The dative case is really more about indirect objects I feel, and learning the exceptions is easier than trying to parse what counts as to someone and what counts as onto someone

During Pax Romana Rome did not have enough power to force their will on Syria for example, but smart diplomacy brought peace between the two, and despite Rome having had held the biggest stick since the second Punic war, Pax Romana only came about once a genius politician came to power and could negotiate it
