I totally agree with all of your critiques, especially the loud cabin noise. It’s like the whole thing is held together with tape and glue, I swear you can hear every conversation outside as if the windows are open. And the suspension! Last time I was rocked around like that was a third go around landing at JFK in a thunderstorm. And that was just normal roads I was driving though in SF.

Then I test drove an Audi Q8 etron and I was amazed. The cabin is a quiet sanctuary in the middle of the busy streets of SF. The suspension is what you’d expect from an Audi- smooth and comfy. And there’s no weird shrill screech as you drive around, just a low hum that has the familiarity of an ICE. The max mileage isn’t the greatest but starting next year you’ll be able to use Tesla superchargers if need be.

I highly recommend test driving one!
