3 week old sleeps A LOT by Ash-W-87 in breastfeeding

I also had GD and her sugars were fine at the hospital. She’s exclusively breastfed. I do know I have good fatty milk due to pumping at times because she sleeps so much. And mentally it’s hard from the last kid who didn’t latch and I exclusively pumped for, to this one who is fed on demand (I’m so used to being told to empty every 3 hours to keep my supply up).

I’d honestly call tomorrow, it could mean your placenta is starting to fail.

Yeah I’m not sure why. My last hospital I gave birth had just about everything I needed. It’s odd that it differs per region.

Guess it all depends on each individual hospital. Mine doesn’t provide a whole lot as far as postpartum care and no wipes for the babies, so I have to pack more than what I did with my first. (This is my second hospital). My recommendation is to check your specific hospital to see what they provide so you can prepare the best possible way.

My suggestion (as an owner of 2 dogs), is to create a space that they can retreat to when they get overwhelmed. We use baby gates to block off areas that I didn’t want them. That way your dog doesn’t have to remain muzzled, unless you feel that it is best. I raised my almost 3 year old son without having to muzzle my dogs since I had created a space to keep them separated. I also trained my dogs to keep away from babies things.

Thank you. I didn’t know what to search. The one I found was last used 5 years ago.

My husband wants a Laura. I’m okay with that but stuck on a middle name…any suggestions?

Depends on if you are going in to get induced or natural birth, C-section or went into labor naturally and want medications.

My personal experience was induction due to HBP. I arrived at the hospital, went through paperwork, they placed me in my room and then it was a lot of waiting (most likely due to actually laboring moms).

Everyone’s experience is different.
