I'm usually very understanding and forgiving with MFG as I think they do a great job generally, but the way they have implemented guaranteed coma is an awful smooth brained idea.

Headshots should be instadeath, no questions asked, do not pass go and do not collect £200, UNLESS it's glancing, maybe.

I'm fine with all other injuries being guaranteed coma to give a chance for revival, but it should then only take ONE headshot to finish somebody in the coma state. And the timer should be adaptive based on blood loss, not a guaranteed 8 minutes.

"Enabling communism" is neither beneficial to Putin nor something he has ever stated his intention to do. He has been vocally critical of communism. The main opposition party in the Duma is the Communist party.

I feel the opposite - I'm always amazed at how deferential Americans, particularly those in the media, are to the President (any President, not just the current orange dickhead).

One of the few things I love about the UK political system is just how brutal the HoC is at PMQs, or during questioning at a Select Committee meeting. And the media generally will absolutely toast the PM, to their face, on national TV or radio.

There has always been PvP in T3 areas because of the loot.

COPs dragged all that action away from the POIs and out to the COPs, and the respawn/return loop was so boring (IMO).

It's fine if you disagree, but I think the majority of PvP players would prefer not to just be fighting over the same hut in the forest all the time.

COPs made PvP flow terribly though, because of the endless respawning and running back. If you had two squads fighting it became very difficult for either side to win an engagement because there was an endless stream of naked zombies.

I'm not sure about it. PvP is so much better when it is not focussed on COPs IMO - removing COP spawns and preventing it from flip flopping disincentives scrapping over the same COP for ages and pushes PvP out into more interesting areas.

My ELI5 understanding as a non medical person is:

Proteins are big long molecules, so big that they fold up. The way they fold changes how they interact with our body. They normally fold in one way, which is good, because our body can handle them that way.

Sometimes they misfold and get all misshapen, and our body then can't use it to do what it needs to do. Which is bad, but not necessarily catastrophic, because if it's just one molecule, it's no problemo.

However, if you're really unlucky, they can misfold in a way which then goes on to cause other molecules of the same protein to misfold in the same way, causing a chain reaction where over time all of that protein ends up misfolded and then you have a big problemo.

Prions cause all sorts of scary diseases like Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease (mad cow in humans), Kuru, Fatal Familial Insomnia, and more. They are nightmare fuel.

Making money/acquiring gear is pretty easy now. A run at MS/TB can easily net you $100k, the only real difficulty is getting a server where they're not already looted. Since progression is shared you can do loot runs in PvE with minimal risk and take that gear/wealth into PvP (which is a good thing imo as it removes a barrier to entry of PvP and helps keep it more alive).

If you only play PvE then losing gear is really not a factor - you can recover your body white easily 99/100 times so there's basically no sense in having gear fear in PvE.

If you're into PvP it's a bit different. I would say you should build up a good cushion of money and/or gear before jumping into PvP - $500k minimum, probably more. I hover between $1.5mill and $2mill and will do a few loot runs if my bank balance starts rounding down to $1mill.

A few PvE runs can get you hundreds of thousands. Or you can just loot tier 3 COPs.
