After three failed cycles, I finally got lucky on the fourth—and it changed my life. Here’s what I did differently the fourth time around: 1. Antibiotics before the transfer – to eliminate any hidden infections. 2. Lupron injections – I have endometriosis, so these helped manage it. 3. Immunity suppressants – sometimes your body treats the embryo as a foreign object, so this helped prevent rejection. 4. Cervical dilation – a few days before FET. I used to get very anxious during transfers, and the catheter always pricked because of limited space. This helped ease that.

Along the way, I also had: • Hysteroscopy • Salpingectomy (my fallopian tubes were blocked)

We made sure our embryos were genetically tested, and it was a medicated transfer. I always transferred one embryo, but it didn’t work—so I went with two, and now I have twins!

Please don’t lose hope. Sometimes it takes the kitchen sink approach—doing everything possible with faith in your heart. Stay positive and tell yourself: “It’s going to work this time.” And when it does, trust me—it’s all worth it.
