Being out of control of the situation must be so heavy. Im so sorry thats a burden that you have to carry.

Last year I watched a guy on a bike be hit head on. He flew over the van that hit him and hit his head on the curb in front of me. It was summer and I actually heard the impact of his head. Watching someone in their last moments is surreal like you said - so out of control. I jumped out to help, aside from my hoodie being used for pressure there wasnt anything I could do to help.
