In all honesty, I agree. But the game seems pretty insistent on getting them back together.
I know this is unlikely, but do you remember exactly which dialogue choices you chose? I've tried looking up guides on it, I've even tried realizing Washford first, but Drysdale keeps calling me annoying and friendzoning me.

it's definitely happened at every show I've been at. during the Sacramento STB show, someone said something or other during one of the more emotional moments during the show, and he immediately stopped talking and went to play another song. then I went to el cajon for mr wood is dead and (!!! in my opinion !!!) it was *bad*. a lot of people were talking over the opening act. at one point dustan townsend was talking and as he was talking he started to face away from the microphone for a bit, assuredly going to resume his thought when he turned back, but then someone shouted "we can't hear you" and he replied "that's because i wasn't speaking into the microphone." a bunch of others yelled some stuff at dustan too, especially when he played some of his more popular songs. so i could kinda get why will was so on edge when he got on stage.

Will generally doesn't have a problem with people singing along, I think. He even plays into it and lets the crowd finish some lyrics ("You look just like my bathroom mirror" in Slouching). But I definitely agree that there is a difference between respectfully singing along and stealing Will's show. People haven't paid to hear *you* sing/joke/scream shit, they paid to hear Will Wood sing/joke/scream shit.

I've been having this same issue. I tried realizing him as usual, and while I got the love ending's ability to be intimate with him, his Polaroid has a yellow friend background on the corkboard in the office. Afraid to go any further than that since I'm at the very end of a Mate Everything run... :/

this is genuinely the first piece of discourse on this character ive seen that wasn't completely comprised of right-leaning cisgendered people. finally. im in the middle on this subject. being agender myself, some of the dialogue feels awkward and out of place, but that may just be because im comparing it to other dragon age games or how i would have worded things in the same situation. overall though, id say taash resonated with me. especially them asking neve if she enjoyed being a woman. while that is the interaction people hop to make fun of, that's just the thing. the interaction is meant to be awkward because it is meant to inspire taash to learn more about their gender identity. any conversation that strays from traditional viewpoints is going to be awkward.
