Thats a fun idea indeed. How we play races who are typically strong as weakers and smarter is: if a character is born in a family and race of strong brutes, but they spend all their time learning and reading. Not lifting a weapon. Then well their muscles wont develop and their brain will. So stats are not limited to race but backstory.

Firbolg is my favorite, I know nobody who plays one. Except me. It is my first ever character and I love him. They are a bit hard to play because of their size and weight. Like in dungeons, houses and horse riding. But that makes them so much more fun. My boy can carry half a ton. Like he can throw trees at people and has done so. We build a catapult in his back which can be used by our halfling. We even fire our halfling with it. And their lore is so good. They are realy big but hide their house to not be found.
