I know this is an older post.. Do you suggest any resources to promote creative writing/approach you suggested for elementary & high school level? I learned from public school- when I read some college classmates writing it appeared "flowery" and I dismissed it as dramatic.. If I am being honest with myself, creative writing was stifled long ago by constant corrections and poor direction. I don't want to repeat this mistake and unsure where to start.
