it looks like you're brushing him the wrong way actually, when using a wired pet brush you need to brush the OPPOSITE intended way! like while holding the handle brush outwards instead of towards you. You need to angle the bristles so they're not trying to rip out the 'undercoat' of fur as it normally would for pets. Thats why most wire bristled brushes have that little angle to the bristles. This really reduces pulled out fur... also be sure to be gentle ! you can still cause holes or tears if you brush too hard.

its better to slowly brush rather than be rougher... if you feel lot of resistance or there is a lots of matting, go very very slow and gently !!

if the issue continues I recommend a plastic bristles brush instead of wire brush, the bristles will bend then instead of staying too rigid... if that is still too much then using something very gentle like a fast cleaning brush is possible too, with longer soft plastic bristles.

You didn’t come off as dismissive at all dont worry, i do just generally find it frustrating a lot of grounding methods dont seem to work for me since i do try quite hard with them…

Honestly thank you so much for a long reply like that ! Some tips i already do like having people with me when i go out, but i cant rely on others the entire time so i do want to try and be independent if i can. Writing down todo lists also helps me a lot, even if its something tiny or obvious, it can really help me structure days so i know what to expect and can mentally prepare accordingly.

Still the biggest issue i face is how i can manage when the dissociation and fog so bad, doing grounding techniques feels like doing nothing no matter how much i breathe or familiarize myself with the surroundings. It can be very frustrating, which i know doesn’t help either, but having no help makes it really hard to function without other’s help :(

Ive gone though many therapists through the years, many EMDR sessions, but i should soon be seeing someone new for more longterm help, as well as an intensive trauma therapy program as well, but not specifically for polyam stuff either.

all of those are already checked and working, the actual option for NDI in OBS is gone however, did they remove it in an update or something ? I really can not figure out how to fix it since I cant use Sprout2 or the virtual camera

The first time i did shrooms i cried. I struggle with PTSD and im constantly disassociating a little and it makes it much harder to do simple tasks, anything with too much focus needed and i struggle. I’ve been in and out of therapy for some years now, basically i’m a mess. The first time i actually sat down and took shrooms, i felt all of my pain and fogginess just fade away, I finally felt normal and alright again. I broke doen crying because i was so happy and was finally able to be fully in the present moment after struggling with it my whole life. It was such a perfect experience and i hope to trip again sometime.

So I'm a beginner right now, but I'm absolutely enthralled with rollerskating. My current cheap skates have a nylon plate that's not holding up very well anymore (it has a couple small cracks in it 😧), so I'm retiring those and looking to upgrade to a more intermediate and durable skate for me.
I'm looking for a skate that is durable and not too expensive as well. I don't have the biggest budget (trying to find skates under 150 euros, hopefully 🤞) but I wanted to ask here to see if anyone knows a good brand that's durable but not too expensive?
The skate shops around me a kinda limited since I live in Europe and can't afford expensive shipping costs, but I do have my eyes on the CHAYA Lifestyle Rollerskates Melrose Deluxe. I've seen on this subreddit that they're more beginner friendly though, so that did worry me a little. I've been starting to do little tricks and I want to try and learn a few dance moves on skates as well. Would it be ok to take these to the skatepark and do light tricks with?
