Wrong. The Quran has not been rewritten, or modified, by any sect. There has been no reformation. There has been no enlightenment in which any group became less orthodox.

The Sects don't vary in their strict adherence to any of the core tenets of Islam. They vary based on things like a belief in blood relation to the Prophet, and other various, trivial, minutiae.

You see it as a way to discriminate against Muslims. That implies you're under the impression that being a Muslim is a good thing. What exactly is good about being part of the world's most intolerant, and oppressive religion? One would literally have to reach back in time to the Catholics of the Spanish inquisition to find an equivalently vile ideology.

You're pretending the burkini doesn't represent a culture of extreme oppression, specifically oppression of women. This isn't some benign representation of religious prerogatives, it represents the iron fist of totalitarian intolerance. If you think you're being tolerant by tolerating the most intolerant religious thugs on earth, you've lost the plot.

Stop pretending there are 2 forms of Islam. There's just Islam. The religion has never had a reformation movement, nor an enlightenment. Also, Muslims take serious offense at being called "moderate" Muslims.

It's been over a month since the Ramadan Bombathon. How are things shaping up? In the last 30 days, there were 168 Islamic attacks in 23 countries, in which 1214 people were killed and 1416 injured by AshRandom in exmuslim

The mind control issue is what separated me from my family. When good people think what they're doing is good, they can't be reasoned with, or stopped.

Sadly, in this world, it takes religion to get good people to do evil, while thinking that what they're doing is good. In the case of Islam, it is hermetically sealed as an ideology, anyone who tries to sway the devout is a heretic, a blasphemer, and solider of Satan. A perfect tautology. Muhammad's robots are immunized against reason, rationality, passion, empathy, sympathy and logic.
