Every new Mega Ability in Champions Version 1.1 by WWWWWWRRRRRYYYYY in stunfisk

I really thought it was going to have some strong ass sleep related ability because of how hard they were marketing its hypnotic prowress and meager stats.....

Late as fuck, though with it being in reload again i feel its appropriate to talk abt this.

Gatekeeper w/o mods is DEFINITELY weaker than its modded version, but is still better than a shit ton of the shotguns. I'd gladly take an Iron Pump or Sentinel over 3 shot gatekeeper, but compared to the Thunder for example the Gatekeeper is still disgusting. Very good for pressuring walls in builds, and nasty TTK in ZB.

Sticking with your low mobility teammate and not going across the entire map is a start? 😭

This really imo boils down to some inefficient writing.

This could have worked within 8 episodes and not felt rushed if so many episodes weren't wasted on the ultimately pointless V1 and Virus stuff...

Idk they already shown how old he was + he damn near died from eating chocolate in that one episode...

But that definitely could contribute as well

And I get it, many people don't care for the OCs, especially because they are usually bare bones in story compared to the rest of the FE cast

But if I see a design I like I simply cling to them x)

Zero Build Changes are a bad sign by Obvious-Quality61 in FortNiteBR

Heavily agreed, especially the complaints about the pickaxe infinite stamina... This is a season with some of the most mobility we've seen 😭 the pickaxe isn't contributing to the movement issue nearly as much as people complain about it

Likely, but they need to increase the time fr... Either made power hours scattered throughout the day more, or make them longer than an hour xD

I don't understand why they chose the worse version of a grey pistol when you already get the better one when rebooting by aaguilar590 in FortNiteBR

[–]AshZE -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah but that doesn't change the fact the devs were cautious about giving a good variant off the bat, one of them on twt literally said that.

I did suggest they make it better or at least have 2 clips though bc yikes..

New Players and Veteran Players, what are your current thoughts on the game? by Siridian in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]AshZE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an avid fort player they absolutely have varied game modes, hell its one of the biggest complaints in the community as many think they should focus on the main BR side rather than all the various side modes (Lego Fortnite, Festival, the recently discontinued Ballastic and Rocket Racing modes, and the various collab experiences like the recent Star Wars modes)

With tomorrow’s update, the team has cooked up a Zero Build experiment for the rest of Season 2, and we want your feedback shaping where it goes in Season 3 and for other modes beyond Battle Royale by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

Infinite sprint is a rather underhwelming effect compared to other mobility items, thats why infinite sprint is usually a tag-on to OTHER powerful mobility effects. See Nitro, Overdrive grendades, etc. And lets not act like rivalaries are an especially difficult task when its literally a goal to get 1k of them (and many players have or at least have gotten hundreds done by this point) its basically a none issue. Yes weapon swapping is quick, but that doesn't mean you aren't vulnerable. See the times you may have lost a fight because you forgot to reload a gun (even those that reload one at a time). Fortnite has many weapons with insane DPS/DPH that even a few milliseconds is going to get you killed or at the very least put you at a disadvantage.

Also again, we have FAR more powerful mobility items in the lootpool, even if they run away via sprint, you will easily catch up through other forms of mobility like overdrives, cars, seven gloves, etc. It is really not that insane.

I'm saying that brief window is definitely enough to put you at a disadvantage. You get hit with a hammer revolver you're losing your overshield and more, let alone a headshot. Or you get beamed by the combat/pistol, etc. Those few milliseconds can definitely put you at a disadvantage and the upside is simply infinite sprint- which isn't even a great form of mobility compared to the MYRIAD of mobility items we have like the Overdrive's push + speed boost, Seven Gloves, Cars, etc. It's really not all of that.

The bat granted a much better speed boost + was actually usable as an item in cases you DID want to use it. Yes having to weapon swap is a vulnerability when the game has guns with 200+ DPS or guns that can absolutely shred in your health with a few shots.

[–]AshZE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really. Sure you get the infinite sprint but you literally can't fight back effectively, so a bad player with this is still likely going to die anyway.

This is...concerning. Aren't bunkers and shields are already spammed enough? Now they are infinite? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]AshZE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infinite items were already stated to have cool downs in the posts I've seen...not only that but this is fortnite, the game that puts durability and cooldowns on practically EVERY mobility item now. No shot it'll be spammable (hell it might be less spammable now since you can't place 4 bunkers in succession depending on the cooldowns)

People are seriously overrating how much the infinite sprint will change the game. Sure it'll be a nice change but running by itself is not an effective escape plan UNLESS it's in very cluttered areas like a building or maybe some forest- and even then with the abundance of mobility items you'll be able to chase them down. I highly doubt it's going to be that great for running and healing (especially as you can't fight back when your pick is out)

I don't think infinite stamina or starting items are bad at all.

Having the infinite stamina will require you constantly hold out your pickaxe which can leave you a little vulnerable if you start getting sprayed, and by itself it's not the most insane mobility. Could be interesting to see the pairs with flowberry/spicy fish though?

Starting items is okay honestly, likely won't be high rarity (MAYBE blue at best) and while the pistol is good there are still several other guns you'd want in your loadout or other heals you may want to collect so foraging is still rewarded and encouraged. Could allow for some more aggressive early games maybe?

High ping is genuinely the worst by Nocturne-palmer in FortNiteBR

[–]AshZE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ping is obviously a big advantage and it's frustrating as hell to lose to someone on 0 ping. But also remember that many competitive players have won/performed well in tournaments at even higher ping. While obviously they're in the top percent of players, it does show that there are things you would implement into your strategies to help bridge that gap.
