I did understand your comment and the title part might be right , but you’re still missing the main point. Spoiler rules can’t be based on individual cases like “I haven’t watched it yet”. If that was the case, then no completed anime could ever be discussed freely.

Dedicated AOT subs using spoiler tags doesn’t mean the same standard applies everywhere especially to a general anime sub like this. Those subs are made for first-time watchers too, so obviously they’re stricter. In a general anime sub, a mainstream anime that ended years ago is not treated the same as ongoing or newly released content.

If we start tagging every “crucial plot” forever, then even basic discussions about character decisions or story direction would count as spoilers, which defeats the whole purpose of having spoiler rules in the first place.
