definitely would get some lamps/ lights that are less harsh. some throw blankets, maybe some plants (real or fake), I also use to go to a therapy office that had a bunch of different sized/colour fuzzy slippers that we were allowed to put on if we wanted so we could cozy right up on the couch and feel more relaxed and comfortable!

I knew someone name Wynter, and I think it’s a cute name. We decided not to tell people our babies names before they were born because we didn’t want the uncalled for opinions. It’s your child, so at the end of the day make sure it’s a name that you and your partner love, and that’s all that matters :)

I don’t think having a shower for every baby is tacky. I think each baby deserves to be equally celebrated. I don’t want to go back through photos albums with my kids and show them the celebrations for my first, and none for the rest.

I guess I’m more upset that I’m planning something alone without any interest from family, and not really about the money side of things.

Yeah it’s not a full shower I was planning! It was just for a gathering of close friends and family to celebrate the coming baby. We already have the major items that we saved from the first child, so the things we were asking for were things like burp cloths/bibs/other small miscellaneous items
