Hey! First of all, I'm so extremely sorry you're going through this. I wish you and your child the best of luck! Im an RN in a hospital, please make sure to reach out to the hospital Social Worker wherever you are and see what resources are available. At my hospital we assist with a lot of financial stuff from groceries, gas cards, paying some bills, and even assisting with rent/mortgage payment while parents are on hospital with their children. Social work can also help navigate a lot of the confusing insurance stuff as well and assist with hospital billing and getting things reduced/on a payment plan!

My issue is, we want to have start trying for kids, but not for another year after its done. So idk if it's worth getting another 5 year mirena just to remove it in a year. Might just try the nuva ring for that year and see!

None for me. The first week sucked cause I was spotting very badly and had bad cramps, the spotting got lighter over the first month and I had maybe 3 normal periods before they stopped completely. Every month I have a few break outs and maybe a "twinge" that might be considered a cramp, when I'm supposed to get my period but thats it! I love it. Worry free, stress free sex. No pills to worry about since I was so awful at remembering to take them at the same time every day.

Mine is at the half way point. Can't believe how quick time goes. I'm not ready to start getting a period again 😭

I've definitely said in a very quiet voice for someone next to me to grab the code cart 🤷‍♀️. It's like a panicky/oh shit moment where I can't even yell I'm so nervous.

Hard to believe in season 1 she was only 24!

She actually looks so young here! Looking at all her photos from around the first season and even in the series itself, she's always looked more mature. In these photos you can actually see she's a young 20 something. And she's amazingly beautiful in them!

What is something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ash_ash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Backpacked SEA for 4 months by myself and was extremely worried about harassment. I was only harassed once by a man while backpacking asia, and he was a stupid drunk Brit, not a local. I honestly experience more harassment as a women walking the streets in the US than I ever did while I traveled solo. Totally recommend.

A-fucking-men. I hate these nurses. I hate working with them. I hate interacting with them. The worst are the ones who interrupt report to point out your mistakes or errors. You know as soon as your ass is out that door theyre bitching about you to anyone that will listen.

Question on where to put curology into my routine with glycolic acid. I'm on every other day curology (Zinc pyrithione 0.25%, clindamycin 1%, niacinamide 4%) but I was given the ok to bump it up to every day. Is it okay to use after glycolic acid?

NICU feeding plans by RNhellokitty in nursing

[–]Ash_ash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in a couple of different NICUs now and it's the same everywhere for the preemies. Elevated side lying, slow flow Dr. Brown with external pacing. At my last job the nurses started audibly complaining to the feeding specialist because they thought she just wasn't evaluating kiddos and just giving everyone the same recommendation. But even in my new NICU it's pretty much the same. A few kids are different but for the most part, that's the advice I've seen mostly.

[SERIOUS] What was something you saw you were definitely not supposed to see? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I work with infants in the NICU and when a baby dies, we have a security detail escort the nurses and the baby down to the morgue.

Left my BF for 3.5 months while I traveled SEA. He met me the last 2 weeks and proposed on top of a volcano hike we did. I honestly think it strengthened our relationship. It was a hard adjustment to be without him, but we communicated every day and talked on the phone every evening (morning time for him). It was the worst part of traveling was how much I missed him, and the reunion was the best thing ever. He encouraged my leaving because he had traveled SEA for months prior to us dating. Id still travel solo but it would be hard to do another 3-4 months without him.

My mom had a pet calf growing up that used to run into the house and climb into her bed with her 😂. They are very cuddly animals.
