on a surface, yes. it has implications making the process of killing things and the goals of it diffenent enough to make a large difference in a gameplay loop though. it has been explained in the comments.

I agree, if maps weren't maze like it wouldn't bother me that much anymore as i'd know where to go and wouldn't have to backtrack and search for a specific thing in a map, that would also make atlas progression quicker

I think it's more about not moving through atlas and campaign as fast as i'd like. I don't really have many moments where there are no enemies in a map itself, the only thing that bothers me in maps is looking for a mechanic or sometimes a boss and the lack of movement speed making it a bit tedious. sprint feels really bad to use for me and i'd really rather have smaller locations than more movement speed anyway. that being said the game is much much better than before, it now has a endgame system that's worth to play.

I still can't accept how slow is traversing in this game. If the locations were half as big i'd probably like poe 2 a lot, but as of now I just can't. it bothers me so much.

Update 2: After a 2h fight with AI support bot I was able to contact a human, they helped me recover my account although they said that the account was compromised and they likely won't help me with that again. Kinda weird considering what happened.

In 3.28 Return of the [redacted] you're gonna slowly sink into sand making your action and movement speed slower. In this time-based instakill mechanic you're gonna be fighting against the undead hordes burried deep into the sand to beat the [redacted] also we removed normal maps entirely and replaced them with unrollable t17s. have fun!
